Documentation standards: Basis for the evaluation for the treatment of addictive disorders

In 1985, documentation standards of the German Society for Addiction Research and Addiction Therapy were developed and published for the first time. These “catamnesis standards were contentually revised in 1990 and further developed (DG-Sucht, 1992).

The third and actually valid version was published in 2001 under the title „Documentation standards III for the evaluation of the treatment of dependent individuals“ in the journal SUCHT 47 as special edition 2. In the chapter undefinedchapter C (PDF) of the complete publication, clearly defined item formulations are provided. These standards serve as quality management in the development of assessment files for the evaluation in the addiction field.
